Terry L. Gray was convicted after pleading no contest to a charge of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree (possession of cocaine). Gray reserved the right to appeal the superior courts denial of his motion to suppress evidence. On appeal he contends that the evidence against him should have been suppressed because it resulted from a jail house search that occurred before he was allowed a reasonable opportunity to post bail. We reverse.
